This Cadbury Dairy Milk with CC’s Original is the second of the flavours – after the Kettle Sea Salt – inspired by football finals and released by Cadbury in August.
This one takes the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk milk chocolate and adds CC’s original corn chip pieces.
The milk chocolate smell of the bar does not give away its corn chip innards at all. Upon tasting, though, the pieces of CC’s original corn chip add a delectable crispness with pops of salty corn flavour that persists throughout the bite even as the milk chocolate melts. Indeed, the corn chip pieces linger after the milk chocolate has gone, leaving us in no doubt that these were flavoured with corn chips.
We enjoy the prominent flavour of the salty corn chips that hold is own to the richness of the milk chocolate. We prefer the added crunch of the Chocolat Frey Supreme Milk Crunchy Corn and were it not for that, it’d certainly qualify as a ‘disruptive’ and ‘unexpected’ flavour for chocolate.
