This is the Haldiram’s Minute Khana Tandoori Garlic Naan.
Each pack contained four triangular pieces, each measuring approximately 20 x 15 x 1 cm at its widest points.
Served straight from the oven and without the customary brushing of butter, they had a pronounced garlicky aroma. The exterior was noticeably crispier and drier than freshly made naan, yet the interior retained a tender texture with a pleasant chew. The surface was generously topped with minced fresh garlic and coriander leaves, delivering a boldly flavoured bite. These were enjoyable enough to eat plain as a snack, yet equally well-suited to accompanying home-cooked curries.
While inevitably less supple than freshly made naan from a restaurant, these offered a satisfying balance of flavour and texture, making them a likely repeat purchase.
