Each package contained 24 chips, each with a curved oval shape, measuring approximately 5.6 x 4.2 cm in size. They had an orange-yellow hue, were lightly dusted with fine salt, and emitted an enticing shrimp aroma.
When tasted, the chips offered a delightful crispness, with the shrimp flavour immediately taking center stage, delivering a remarkably delicious taste of the sea. It felt as though a generous amount of shrimp powder had been incorporated into the dough. The richness of umami derived from the shrimp powder was enhanced by the subtle sprinkling of salt, adding depth to the shrimp’s savoury notes. As one progressed through each bite, the potato flavour gradually emerged, but the shrimp’s richness remained the dominant character. All in all, these chips were exceptionally delicious, encapsulating the irresistibly bold shrimp flavour found in Keishindo crackers in the form of a crisp and delightful potato chip.
