This is the Vicks Medicated Drops Yuzu, a sugarless and somewhat difficult-to-find flavour of the grapefruit, apple and ume flavours we enjoy.
Each box contained 5 sticks each with 5 drops.
Each drop was triangular about 1.5 cm in width and 0.5 cm in height without any aroma. Upon tasting, the bright floral citrus aroma of yuzu was immediate on the palate with its flavour persisting into the body with a subtle zesty bitterness and a very restrained sweetness (being sugarless) in comparison to proper candy like Daimonji Ame Honpo Yuzu Ame. A gentle cooling sensation was evident from the start of each drop, giving a refreshing mouthfeel that lingered cleanly in the aftertaste without any sweetness and soothed our throats. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the yuzu flavour of these sugarless medicated drops.
