This is the Kanro Puré Gumi Cherry Soda.
Each heart-shaped piece measured roughly 3 × 2.5 × 0.5 cm, split into a yellow half and an orange half, covered in white sour crystals, and and carried a sweet–tart aroma reminiscent of red cherries.
On tasting, the sour crystals on the surface provided an initial crunch before giving way to a chewy but non-sticky gummy. The cherry flavour appeared immediately, beginning with a gentle sweetness and developing into a lively juicy acidity by mid-bite as the sour coating merged into the gummy. Both coloured halves delivered the same profile. The finish shifted towards a clean, rounded red cherry character, avoiding the muskier traits associated with black cherries.
Overall, this delivered a bright cherry profile with a clear progression from sour sparkle to juicy sweetness.
