This is the Tarami Torokeru Ajiwai Gohobi Grape Jelly. It contained grape juice and grapes from China.

The jelly had a translucent red-purple hue with 7-8 peeled and seedless grapes suspended throughout, and a sweet aroma of dark grapes, similar to the honkaku version. When consumed chilled, the agar-based jelly had a slightly firmer texture, holding its shape more and reducing the immediate melt-in-the-mouth feel of the honkaku version. While the grape flavour remained present, the bold intensity and juicy acidity of the honkaku version were pared back and replaced by a noticeable sugary sweetness. The peeled and seedless grapes, however, were comparable and provided delectable bites of freshness, slightly softer than fresh grapes. Overall, while the jelly component was somewhat lacking compared to the honkaku version, it still offered a deliciously rich, fresh grape flavour and texture, elevating it above other grape jellies on the market.
This Tarami Torokeru Ajiwai Gohobi Grape Jelly contained 200 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
