Smaller pieces similar in size to the mochi balls would have created a more cohesive eating experience.

Towards the finish, the dried osmanthus blossoms contributed a delicate floral aroma, although they imparted little flavour beyond a slightly chewy texture. The dessert resolved into a light, floral and gently sweet finish, with the soy milk and tofu leaving a clean, soothing impression on the palate.
