When enjoyed chilled, the mango flavour exhibited the vibrant, natural sweetness of mango nectar rather than artificially flavoured syrup. The incorporation of the green tea base tempered the typically excessive thickness of mango nectar, resulting in a smooth, drinkable consistency. However, it did not introduce the pulpy texture that would have been present with mango purée. Instead, the beverage leaned on the white pearls for textural interest. These pearls were firm and bouncy, proving to be an excellent complement to the fruity bubble tea. Overall, this bubble tea showcased the delightful flavour of fresh, ripe mangoes without relying on flavoured syrup. However, it lacked novelty in terms of texture.
