This is the Al Nassma Chocolate Whole Nut Selection Milk Chocolate with Hazelnuts. It consisted of hazelnuts (20%), camel milk powder (17%), honey, and bourbon vanilla, enveloped in milk chocolate with a minimum cocoa content of 36%.

The block measured 13 x 6 x 0.8 cm, and the hazelnuts were visible on the underside of the bar.

On tasting, the chocolate bar featured a generous distribution of hazelnuts, taking the lead in the flavour profile. The initial half of each bite was marked by the crunchy hazelnuts, revealing their rich, nutty, and toasted notes. As the bite progressed, the milk chocolate melted into a smooth creaminess, with the honey and bourbon vanilla enhancing it with a velvety quality akin to the effect of adding caramel found in Whittaker’s milk chocolate. These characteristics persisted into the finish, complemented by the crunch of the hazelnuts, and a subtle savoury quality emerged in the end.

Overall, we appreciated the combination of textures and flavours in this bar, with the dominant hazelnut presence giving it the feel of a generous handful of hazelnuts held together by high-quality milk chocolate. Our preference for milk chocolate led us to favour this bar over the white chocolate with pistachios.
