This is the Tipco Lychee with Coconut Water. Of all the lychee juices we’ve tried, this one had the highest concentration of the fruit, with 98% lychee juice and 2% coconut water.

The juice was an opaque beige colour with the sweet floral aroma of fresh lychees. Served chilled, a hint of coconut water came through with a gentle nuttiness and persisted through the sip with a light acidity even as the bright notes of lychee came through in the body with the floral sweetness of the fresh fruit that peaked in the finish. With the addition of 2% coconut water, the lychee juice retained an inobtrusive viscosity and delivered a smooth and rounded mouthfeel.

Overall, this was a very refreshing lychee juice that captured the flavour of the fresh fruit (as expected from being 98% lychee juice) but restrained the sweetness in comparison to other ‘lychee’ juices on the market we’ve tried that make up the balance of a 15-20% lychee juice base with grape juice.
