These were the Tropical Fields Crisp Mixed Fruit Chips.

They contain a mix of banana, pineapple, manjo and jackfruit that have been dried and fried to a crisp in rice bran oil.

I’m a huge fan of dried pineapple and these here are crisp with bright acidity that’s not often found in dried fruit.

The banana is airy and less dense than the dried banana chips while retaining a crispness that makes them more enjoyable.

The jackfruit had a bolder tropical flavour with a crispier, less crumbly texture than the banana. We also like that they’re also not as rock hard like some other brands we’ve tried.

Finally, these crispy versions of dried mango are delicious. Dried mango can sometimes be overly chewy but these ones shatter then melt-in-the-mouth much like a honeycomb with a similar sweetness.
This Tropical Fields Crisp Mixed Fruit Chips contained 200 g. It was produced in Thailand and received as a gift from family in 2020.
