The chicken nuggets were similar in size to regular nuggets but featured a darker orange-brown coating with black flecks. The “special burger sauce” flavour was applied to the exterior, while the chicken inside was identical to that of regular nuggets. The exterior coating was crisp, delivering a flavour unmistakably reminiscent of “special burger sauce,” with tangy pickle notes balanced by a deeply savoury, slightly smoky garlic and onion taste. Overall, these nuggets excelled in capturing the “special burger sauce” flavour. While enjoyable, we found the savoury quality a bit overwhelming, with the interior chicken struggling to balance it.
