This is the I&J Sweet Chilli Fish Tenders, containing 45% basa fish and 42% sweet chilli crumb coating.

Each tender measured about 10 x 3.5 x 3 cm at its widest, with a popcorn-like sweet chilli crumb, similar to the sweet chilli chicken tenders from childhood. On tasting, the coating was crunchy, offering a mellow sweetness with a gentle heat—spicy enough to be noticeable but mild enough not to overwhelm. The fish inside was soft and melted easily on the palate, lacking the firmer texture found in chicken tenders, but this was consistent with basa. Overall, we enjoyed the novelty of using fish instead of chicken in this classic format, and while basa lacks the firmer, flakier texture of hoki or dory, we would repurchase these.
