T2 Fruitalicious

‘Fruity’ describes every fruit-flavoured tea. Yet, you can almost always point to a more specific fruit, like apple or raspberry or grapefruit. This, however, is T2 Fruitalicious.

Infusing 3 g for 4 minutes in 200 mL of boiling water gave a page pink-beige liquor that smells pleasantly fruity. But, a sip doesn’t point to a more specific fruit, despite the infusion containing cranberries, blueberries, dragon fruit and goji berries. Rather, it’s a nondescript fruity tropical flavour with a mellow sweet body before a slightly more acidic finish. Its natural fruity sweetness makes this a universally palatable and enjoyable tea, yet by that same token, also not a particularly exciting or memorable tea.

This T2 Fruitalicious contained 40 g. It was packed in Australia and gifted by colleagues in Sydney, Australia in 2015.
