This is the T2 Strawberry Sensation, described as a ‘sensational juicy tisane of fresh berry flavours and tender tart aromas for all you strawberry sweethearts out there’.

The tisane is a blend of hibiscus, rosehip shells, orange peels, apple pomace, natural and artificial flavouring, sweet blackberry leaves, strawberry granules (5%), acidifier and safflower petals.

Prepared by infusing 3 g of loose leaf in 200 mL of just boiled water for 5 minutes, the tisane is a transparent ruby red colour with a sweet yet tart hibiscus aroma. Served hot, sweet notes of ripe strawberry came through before the typical acidity and flavour of the hibiscus and rosehip dominates in the body through to the finish, where the sweet, fresh notes of strawberry return and linger cleanly on the palate. This tisane — like most tisanes — relies on hibiscus and rosehip to carry the flavour, making it a miss for me despite being inoffensive.

This T2 Strawberry Sensation is 100 g. It was packed in Poland and received as a gift from  acquaintances Sydney, Australia in 2020.
