These crisps are a little over 1 cm in diameter, light orange colour and have a deeply sweet and savoury aroma that’s not entirely pleasant. Upon tasting, the crisps are light as air and to our relief, the savoury notes of the miso take prominence over the initial sweetness. That said, the sweetness lingered in the background with a bold earthiness that’s out of step with the deep savoury qualities of the miso. The absence of sweet potato and miso in the ingredients list aside, this is not a flavour we would repurchase.
