This is the Haldiram’s Minute Khana Aloo Paratha, described as ‘authentic Indian bread stuffed with potatoes, herbs, and spices’.

Each bag contained four circular parathas, measuring approximately 15 cm in diameter and 5 mm in thickness. They were cooked from frozen on a pre-heated pan over medium heat for about 2 minutes per side, until both surfaces achieved a golden-brown colour. Once cooked, the parathas emitted a rich, spiced potato aroma.

On tasting, the parathas had a dense texture reflecting the potato filling and wheat flour, though their thinness kept them manageable. Each bite offered a fragrant blend of herbs and spices, with coriander, mint, cumin, and fenugreek particularly prominent. A mild heat from red chilli and black pepper developed through subsequent bites, adding depth without overwhelming the palate.
Overall, these were well-seasoned, flavourful stuffed breads with a satisfying potato filling. While enjoyable, they do not surpass naan for purchase preference.
This Haldiram’s Minute Khana Aloo Paratha contained 400 g (4 pieces). It was produced in India and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2025.
