This is the Walkers Scottish Biscuit Assortment, which contained 3 flavours of cookies: white choc & raspberry, Belgian dark & milk chocolate, and oatflake & heather honey.

This is the White Choc & Raspberry, which contained 3% white chocolate chunks and 0.5% freeze-dried raspberries.

This cookie has a dense and crunchy crumb with the raspberries (the dark red-black specks) adding a hint of fruity acidity that contrasts with the creamy sweetness of the white chocolate, which melts in the mouth.

This is the Belgian Dark & Milk Chocolate, which contained 5% dark chocolate chunks and 3% milk chocolate chunks.

As expected, this is our favourite of the three cookies, delivering on the promise of a rich chocolatey cookie. As with the previous flavour, the chocolate chunks melt in the mouth to make for a moist and moreish cookie. The crumb is dense and crunchy with a rich chocolate flavour, both of which are stronger here than in the Extremely Chocolatey Cookie.

This is the Oatflake & Heather Honey, which contained 12% oats and 1% honey.

This cookie has a loose and rather large crumb from the oats, which came through with the gentle floral sweetness of the honey that developed with a rich buttery flavour in the body. The cookie is moist on the palate and the presence of the buttery notes allows the cookie to avoid associations with breakfast oats. It’s not our favourite of the three, but surprisingly enjoyable.

This Walkers Scottish Biscuit Assortment contained 250 g or 18 cookies (6x each flavour). It was produced in Scotland and received as a gift from acquaintances in Sydney, Australia in 2020.
