This The Apple Press Cold Pressed Apple Jazz is the last of the three flavours, following the Envy and Pink Lady. As with the other juices, this one contained 90% cold pressed Jazz apple juice and 10% crushed Jazz apples. This one sits between the other two on the sweet-tart scale, but leans more towards the tarter end.
The juice is a translucent straw colour with a gently tart apple aroma. Served chilled, the tartness of the apple came through at the head of each sip with a light mouth-puckering astringency before mellowing to the sweeter flavour of the apple. This one differs from the Pink Lady juice by lacking the effervescent quality that defines that variety and the resulting juice, while having a much more restrained sweetness than the Envy. Overall, though, we prefer the sweetness of the Envy followed by the effervescent tartness of the Pink Lady over this Jazz.
