Chaffic Fairy Peach + Milk Cap

This is the Chaffic Fairy Peach + Milk Cap ($9.20, less sweet, fixed ice), made with white peach and green tea blended with ice, combined with white pearls and a rock salt milk cap.

The beverage presented a three-layered appearance: a deep pink pool of melted white peach juice at the base, a paler opaque pink slush speckled with yellow and orange fragments through the middle, and an opaque white cap on top.

When consumed chilled, it delivered a clean, supple white peach flavour with a natural sweetness and the pleasant texture of soft peach pulp, though the quantity of fruit felt insufficient for the volume. The crystal pearls were smooth and lightly elastic, adding welcome texture but again too few to achieve balance. The rock salt milk cap was unexpectedly well judged, amplifying the sweetness of the peach without the cloying heaviness often associated with cheese foam. By contrast, the green tea component was effectively absent, offering neither flavour nor astringency, giving the drink the character of a peach ice blend rather than a tea-based beverage. The milk cap created a gentle gradient: the opening sips were sweeter and creamier, tapering into a cleaner, less sweet profile as the savoury element integrated gradually.

Overall, a well-executed peach ice blend with an unexpectedly elegant milk cap, though held back by an absent tea base and an overall shortage of fruit and pearls.

This Fairy Peach + Milk Cap contained was purchased from Chaffic in Sydney, Australia in December 2025.
