This is the Cold Brew Tea called Snowfall from Tea Spot in Burwood. Snowfall is a jasmine green tea and consisted of pan-roasted green tea and jasmine blossoms steeped in cold water for at least 12 hours.
The tea is a clear pale yellow colour with a fragrant jasmine aroma. Consumed chilled, the dewy jasmine notes persist throughout the sip even as the mellow toasty notes of the pan-fried green tea emerged in the body with a refreshing, crisp hint of sweetness. The flower blossoms in the tea itself gave the jasmine flavour a notably brighter and more aromatic presence than in many jasmine green teas that use the blossoms only to scent the leaves. Subsequent steeps of the tea gave a more astringent mouthfeel with a bolder green tea flavour. Overall, Snowfall was very enjoyable.
