When the weather gets warmer, D and I find ourselves trying different brands of coconut water. It’s been a few springs now, but we’ve yet to find the one that for which we’d return. This latest one is Tipco Coconut Water, which is 100% coconut water.
The beverage was a translucent off-white colour with a slightly sour aroma of mature coconut flesh. Served chilled, the slightly acidic notes of mature coconut flesh at the head of each sip develop with a nuttiness in the body and a gentle sweetness in the finish. The overall flavour recalled the coconut water from a mature coconut and lacked the natural sweetness and refreshing brightness of young coconuts.
This Tipco Coconut Water contained 1 l. It was produced in Thailand and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2018.
