Berry flavoured ciders are some of our favourite and should be for anyone who’s a fan of sweeter rather than drier ciders. This here is Sidra del Verano Apple, Blackcurrant & Cranberry Cider.
The cider is a translucent deep red with a fruity berry nose and moderate carbonation. Served chilled, the fruity notes of an apple cider came through at the head of each sip before the sweetness of blackcurrant emerged mid-sip followed rapidly by a tarter cranberry. The sweet berry notes increase and peak in intensity mid-body before receding to leave the briefest alcoholic hint in the finish, before returning to linger in the aftertaste. Overall, this is an immensely enjoyable cider, perfect for serving chilled on a hot summer’s day.
This Sidra del Verano Apple, Blackcurrant & Cranberry Cider contained 500 ml. It was bottled in Spain and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2016.
