This is the Maltesers Teasers Honeycomb. It’s described as being ‘crunchy little Maltesers pieces floating in honeycomb flavoured milk chocolate’.

The block has a bubbly appearance, much like Malterser balls lined up next to each other with the gaps filled in by smaller bubbles. Unlike the original Maltesers, though, the malted milk pieces are small bubbles suspended within the chocolate. The honeycomb flavour was within the milk chocolate, giving it a very pronounced sweetness but without the fun of true honeycomb in a Crunchie or Violet Crumble chocolate bar. That, combined with the higher chocolate to malt ratio means the overall effect is not quite satisfying. They say companies come out with new flavours to remind customers of the goodness of the original, and this is very true for this product, especially given the ‘teaser’ in its name.
This Maltesers Teasers Honeycomb contained 146 g. It was produced in China and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2020.
